The golden sands, turquoise waters and perfect waves makes Bondi Beach the most iconic beach in Sydney, attracting sunlovers, surfers and just about anyone else who enjoys a day at the beach. This iconic beach is also home to one of the world's oldest and most well-know surf lifesaving clubs - Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club - host to the popular Australian factual television programme, Bondi Rescue. This 1km stretch of golden sand and breaking waves also paves the way for the 6km long Bondi to Coogee Walk. This cliff top coastal walk is a picturesque coastal route featuring many other small beaches (Mackenzie, Tamarama, and Bonte), bays, cliffs, rock pools, and of course, many glorious views. While a two hours walk might sound daunting to some, the experience and gorgeous sight is indeed therapeutic and enlightening.
